On me the dress hits just above the knee (a little lower than the picture) which makes for the perfect length. The V-neck is cut deep enough to maintain modesty but also to show a little bit of the top of your bathing suit top. The I like the adjustable drawstring empire waistband and the little metal beads on the ends add some pizzaz. The jersey material is lightweight, breathable, and easy to clean. I've washed it several times and worn it immediately after swimming in a chlorine pool and the black is still rich and hasn't faded.
